Responsibilities & Authorities
- Manage a team of circuit and / or logic designers in design definition, implementation / creation, verification, and documentation for Efinix's IP and system development.
- Manage multiple aspects of IP design such as RTL development, verification, synthesis, timing closure, and characterization.
- Help the team in setting the right priorities from technical and resources perspectives. Ensure all activities in the design engineering function meeting the schedule, standard and costs.
- Provide coaching, development plan and direction to the team for their career and technical development. And, develop the winning mindset among the team.
- Work with cross functional teams in defining and delivering the necessary deliverables to ensure the success of product development and rollout.
- Work with business development team in understanding customer's IP requirements and generate the necessary specification and design.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electronic / Computer Engineering) or equivalent10 years of working experience in IC design and IP development using FPGA / ASIC design principle / techniques.
MTS, Senior MTS or Principal engineers who are seeking for career growth are encouraged to apply.Involve and hand-on project planning and management from resources, technical direction and project scheduling.Experience in working with cross functional teams for deliverables planning and negotiationUnderstand the complete design processes from architecture definition, development, till product rollout.Knowledgeable for frontend design techniques, e.g. circuit (schematic) and HDLFamiliar with all verification methodologies, e.g. logic and timing.Experience in IP integration in chip and / or subsystemsExperience with FPGA design tools such as Xilinx Vivado or Altera Quartus will be a plusExcellent problem solving and analytical skillExcellent verbal and written communication skillJob Types : Full-time, Permanent
