As we expand our regional operations, we’re seeking an experienced Senior Video Editor to join our team in Malaysia.

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Video Editor who thrives in a fast-paced, corporate environment. The ideal candidate is adaptable, creative, and confident in handling quick turnarounds — from same-day event edits to polished corporate and social media content. You should bring leadership, technical expertise, and creative flair to the table, guiding junior editors while maintaining the highest standards of storytelling and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead editing projects across a wide range of formats, including :
• Corporate and brand storytelling videos
• Event highlights and same-day edits
• Fast-paced social media content (short-form and long-form)
• Apply motion graphics for openers, titles, lower thirds, and simple animations.
• Collaborate closely with producers, creatives, and clients to deliver projects on time and on brand.
• Supervise and mentor junior editors, ensuring smooth workflows and creative consistency.
• Manage post-production workflow using cloud-based collaboration systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during editing.
• Uphold Vicinity’s creative standards for pacing, storytelling, and technical quality.

What is the next stage in the recruitment process?

How long does the recruitment process take?
