Overview

As a Senior Application / System Sales Engineer you will lead the development of comprehensive proposals and quotations for a wide range of aftermarket services and products. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide detailed quotations for required spare parts based on complex customer requests and specific system specifications.
  • Formulate service agreement proposals that clearly define scopes of work, deliverables, and pricing structures tailored to client needs.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with customers to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Stay current with product developments, understand the competitive landscape, and identify opportunities for system enhancements.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, and project management teams to gather critical data and insights for compelling proposals.
  • Maintain and update a repository of past proposals and templates to ensure accessibility for future projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field).
  • 5‑10 years of progressive experience in proposal writing, engineering, sales support, or related roles, demonstrating a strong understanding of aftermarket dynamics.
  • Comprehensive familiarity with aftermarket products and services.
  • Understanding of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems and configuration based control system, including application of PLCs and control systems in industrial automation processes.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, able to articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • Strong analytical and strategic problem‑solving skills, focused on delivering high‑quality solutions.
