About the role

This is a full-time IT Manager role at HUATRACO SCAFFOLD SDN BHD, located in Meru Selangor. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing the organisation's information technology (IT) operations, ensuring the efficient and effective use of technology to support the company's business objectives.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing the IT team, including recruitment, training, and performance management
  • Overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and security of the company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks
  • Identifying and evaluating new technologies and solutions to improve operational efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborating with other departments to understand their technology needs and providing IT support and solutions
  • Monitoring and reporting on the performance and utilization of IT systems and services
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant IT regulations and industry standards
  • Ensure all systems run smoothly in IT Department.
  • Provide supervision, design, develop and implement system to achieve the project assigned by the superior.
  • Identify and continuously implementing operational / infrastructure improvement and provide better services, efficiency and initiative for the business needs.
  • Responsible and ensure all project or assignment given to be delivered on time.
  • Review and responsible for the implementation of efficient IT policies & procedures.
  • Supervise and provide motivation to the team members.
  • Able to handle and solve ad-hoc issues immediately.
  • Any other responsibilities that may be assigned by Management to you from time to time.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT management role, preferably in the Information & Communication Technology industry
  • Proven track record of leading and managing an IT team, including mentoring and developing team members
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and security
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
  • Knowledge of relevant IT regulations and industry standards
