Area Manager - Last Mile, SPX Express (South - Johor)

SPX Express is seeking an Area Manager to lead and guide the hub to meet operations KPI as per directive from Management.

The successful candidate will supervise and provide guidance for Hub Managers and Fleet Supervisors to monitor day-to-day productivity levels of each hub, allocate resources, and coordinate with upstream operations.

Responsibilities

Lead, guide and ensure the hub meets the operations KPI as per directive from Management
Supervising and providing guidance for Hub Managers, Fleet Supervisors to monitor day to day productivity levels of each hub
Resources allocation to make sure all hubs are effectively operating
Focal point to coordinate with upstream operations which is Linehaul, Sorting Centres and First Mile
Capable of reporting and forecasting / planning hub operation outputs
Fully accountable for cost and synergy with initiatives from HQ that drives operation excellence
Manage and hire Fleet supervisors & Hub managers in designated regions across Malaysia
Manage and ensure hub is meeting 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardise, Sustain) standards

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

Good command of the language in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Other languages would be an added advantage

Preferably 3 years of hands-on working experience specializing in e-Commerce / Logistics / Supply Chain / Manufacturing or equivalent. Other industries and exposure to business operations would be a plus

Positive team management with direct reporting lines would be beneficial

Self-driven, resourceful and able to communicate with all levels of stakeholders

Flexibility in working locations within South area
