Operations Specialist, Claims (Employee Compensation - Hong Kong Market)

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Claims Operations team at Marsh & McLennan Asia Business Services (MMABS). This role will be based in our Pavilion Damansara Corporate Towers, Kuala Lumpur office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working as per respective team's arrangement.

  • Processing General Insurance (Employee Compensation) Claims includes, verifying claim documentation, evaluating claim eligibility, determining coverage parameters, and calculating appropriate claim settlements.
  • The ultimate objective is to facilitate a streamlined and accurate claims handling process, ensuring prompt and equitable resolutions for a diverse range of non-motor insurance policies in Hong Kong.

We will count on you to :

  • Registration, Processing and Adjudication of claims (General Insurance) within turnaround time.
  • Assists in the determination of claim liabilities, value, and service provider fees and sets reserves, with low financial authority, according to company and legal standards.
  • Ensure computed claims settlement and verified reimbursements from insurers are valid.
  • Diligently monitor and follow-up on unsettled claims with insurers and / or outstanding information from clients.
  • Interact with stakeholders to ensure proper execution of tasks.
  • Prepare claims statistic report on a monthly basis include, updating the documentation processes.
  • Proactively identify problems with the team or client and provide solutions.
  • Participate in project initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity of the department.
  • What you need to have :

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in any field
  • Minimum 2 years in Claims Handling / Claims Processing role, specifically in General Insurance Policies.
  • Possess basic General Insurance knowledge
  • Ability to understand, speak, read and write English is required
  • Good work ethics with high level of integrity, detailed oriented, compliant and process driven
