HSE Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTIONS :

• Acting as HSE Engineer and as Secretary of Plant HSE Committee.
• Acting as Scheduled Waste competent person registered with EiMAS.
• To develop, maintain, review, update and carry out HSE policy and procedures in the plant.
• To prepare, safety, health, environmental audit planning.
• Ensure workplace safety by implementing and overseeing comprehensive HSE programs such as 9 Life Critical Standards, Emergency Drill, HSE trainings, HSE Day, etc.
• To investigate all incidents with corrective and preventive action.
• To manage filling of HSE documents as per legal requirements.
• To liaise with DOSH, DOE, BOMBA & other related government agencies to carry out follow-up actions and other legal requirements.
• Ensure timely renewal of reports such as CHRA etc.
• Perform HIRARC based on work units and revise when required.
• To carry out in-house HSE training on certain topics and induction.
• To carry out HSE Huddle / toolbox on weekly basis.
• Responsible for the workplace inspection in ensuring workplace safety.
• Investigate any workplace accidents, near-miss, dangerous occurrence or occupational poisoning and report to the Management.
• Work closely with other sites and corporate HSE on any initiatives / programs and their implementations.
• Collate data, report, and analysis on HSE for functional and business reporting.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the superior from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

Working Hours : 8.00am-5.00pm (Monday-Friday)

Working Location : Kawasan Perindustrian Pasir Gudang, Johor
