As the Director of Business Development & Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening the hotel's market position and driving sustainable growth. Your core focus will be on expanding revenue streams, elevating brand visibility, and forging strategic partnerships to enhance business opportunities. As part of the hotel's executive leadership team, you will be accountable for designing and implementing initiatives that attract guests, optimize occupancy levels, and improve overall profitability. This position requires a balance of strategic foresight, strong relationship management, and innovative marketing execution.
Key Responsibilities :
- Formulate and implement business development and marketing initiatives in line with the hotel's strategic objectives.
- Drive revenue growth by maximizing room sales, event bookings, and other revenue streams.
- Identify, evaluate, and capitalize on local and international market opportunities.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with travel agencies, corporate accounts, and event organizers.
- Conduct market research and apply insights to enhance business strategies and offerings.
- Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns, branding initiatives, advertising, and public relations.
- Manage and enhance the hotel's digital presence, ensuring strong engagement and consistent brand identity.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed performance goals.
- Position the hotel as a premier choice for events, conferences, and functions.
- Administer the marketing budget effectively and monitor return on investment (ROI).
- Provide regular performance updates and market trend analysis to the executive team.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.At least 7 years of experience in hospitality business development and marketing, including 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.In-depth understanding of the hospitality industry, with strong exposure to luxury and upscale segments.Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and fostering strong client and partner relationships.Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation abilities.Strong analytical skills with a data-driven and strategic mindset.Innovative and creative in developing impactful marketing and promotional initiatives.Goal-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to dynamic business environments.
