About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team at WDR Tech SDN. BHD. in Simpang Renggam, Johor. As a full-time Accountant, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information to support the strategic decision-making of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and analysing financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and cash flow statements
  • Reconciling accounts and ensuring the accuracy of financial records
  • Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and tax authorities
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
  • Providing insightful financial analysis and recommendations to management
  • Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc projects and tasks

What we're looking for

  • A relevant degree in Accounting or Finance, and a professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA)
  • At least 3 years of accounting work experience in foreign trade manufacturing factories.
  • Strong technical accounting skills, with a solid understanding of financial reporting and analysis
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proven ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and other relevant IT systems
  • A commercial mindset, with the ability to provide strategic financial insights
