What will you do?

The Building Controls Engineer (or Building Control Systems Site Resident Engineer) will oversee the implementation, integration, testing, and commissioning of building management and control systems on-site. You will ensure that M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) systems function efficiently, meet design specifications, and integrate with the overall building automation system.

• Oversee on-site installation and integration of control systems, ensuring alignment with design specifications, project timelines, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and assessments of control systems and related infrastructure to maintain high-quality standards and compliance with safety regulations.
• Act as the primary liaison between contractors, design teams, and clients, facilitating effective communication and resolving technical issues related to control systems.
• Address and resolve technical challenges during installation and operation of control systems, minimizing disruption to project progress.
• Maintain detailed records of control system configurations, modifications, and performance metrics, providing regular reports to project stakeholders.
• Ensure all control system installations comply with local regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols specific to Malaysia's data center operations.
