Overview

Responsible for supporting daily sales operations, order processing, customer service, and coordination with internal teams. This role requires familiarity with food distribution and an understanding of non-halal industry sensitivities, particularly in handling pork-related products.

Responsibilities

  • Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, or walk-in (B2B clients like restaurants, retailers, wet markets).
  • Prepare sales quotations, invoices, and delivery orders.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with existing customers.
  • Actively search for new potential clients (e.g., restaurants, butcher shops, food stalls, retailers).
  • Handle customer complaints, returns, and feedback professionally.
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication regarding product availability, pricing, and delivery timelines.
  • Inform customers of product availability, substitutes, or promotions.
  • Maintain proper filing of sales documents, agreements, and customer records.
  • Support monthly sales reports, summaries, and data entry tasks.
  • Assist in preparing sales presentations or product brochures (if required).
  • Perform any other related ad hoc tasks or duties assigned by the superior or management from time to time.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Business, Sales, or related fields.
  • 2–4 years in sales / admin / customer service; experience in food or FMCG industry preferred.
  • Candidates fluent in Mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with Mandarin speaking clients.
  • Must be comfortable working with Non-Halal (pork) products ; not suitable for individuals restricted by religious or cultural sensitivities.
