About Kikyo

We’re now looking for a Brand Manager who can elevate Kikyo’s narrative and ensure it continues to lead Malaysia’s high‑end dining scene with elegance and consistency.

The Opportunity

You’ll be the custodian of Kikyo, working directly with the Head of Marketing and senior leadership to shape the brand’s identity, growth, and reputation.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the brand : Own Kikyo’s identity, positioning, and overall brand experience across all touchpoints.
  • Build strategy : Craft annual marketing and brand plans that strengthen visibility, guest loyalty, and revenue performance.
  • Collaborate deeply : Work hand-in-hand with chefs, operations, and our digital subsidiary Bluebird to bring campaigns to life.
  • Create presence : Develop partnerships with influencers, media, and luxury lifestyle brands to expand Kikyo’s share of voice.
  • Analyze & act : Track performance, interpret data, and make confident, brand-aligned decisions that balance creativity and commercial results.
  • Own the experience : Ensure every guest touchpoint — from menu design to PR features — reflects the sophistication Kikyo stands for.

What We’re Looking For

  • 4–6 years of marketing or brand management experience in F&B, hospitality, or lifestyle / luxury brands.
  • Deep understanding of Malaysia’s dining scene and consumer behavior.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — able to engage chefs, operations, media, and leadership.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong grasp of campaign management, reporting, and ROI analysis.
  • Data-driven yet brand-sensitive — able to merge numbers with narrative.
  • Comfortable representing a premium restaurant that serves alcoholic beverages.
  • Passion for food, culture, and craftsmanship — ideally with some knowledge of Japanese cuisine or omakase dining.
  • Preferred Plus

  • Experience in luxury dining, hospitality, or Japanese culinary brands.
  • Relationships with PR agencies, media, and lifestyle influencers.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing analytics, CRM, and reservation platforms (e.g., SevenRooms, OpenTable).
