Production Support Engineer (Teradyne, Penang)

Perform system installation, project management, calibration, retrofitting, training, and troubleshooting. Provide application support for customer production issues. Escalate customer production problems and take full ownership until resolution. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers; actively collaborate on issue prevention. Develop and implement support plans in coordination with cross-functional teams and customer maintenance groups, aiming to improve uptime and efficiency of Teradyne Test Equipment. Deliver training, facilitate technical exchanges, and present technical papers. All About You

If you’re ready to join us in this mission, take a closer look at the minimum criteria for the position. Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in testing or ATE environments. Experience in programming and hardware troubleshooting on Teradyne or other ATE platforms; familiarity with UltraFlex or UltraFlexPlus is a strong advantage. Strong team player with the ability to work independently. Excellent reasoning and practical problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative and proactive mindset. Effective written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin. Willingness to travel internationally frequently to provide hands-on support and manage project activities.
