Overview

Team Lead - Energy Transformation Consultancy at Siemens Energy. You will lead a team of consultants in the development and implementation of energy transformation projects within Siemens Energy’s Grid Consulting service, overseeing studies, business case and techno-economic analyses, and proof-of-concept initiatives for energy system operators, industrial and commercial enterprises, and energy asset developers.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of consultants to deliver impactful energy transformation projects
Oversee development of decarbonization and digitalization strategies and roadmaps for clients globally
Ensure high-quality project execution through effective planning, coordination, and quality assurance
Support business development by identifying opportunities and presenting service capabilities to clients
Strengthen client relationships and foster long-term partnerships
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive innovation and excellence

What You Bring

University degree in engineering, business, or economics; PhD or MBA is a plus

Professional experience in consulting (minimum 5 years), with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role

Expertise in one or more of the following : energy system decarbonization, renewable energy and storage, power utilities, industrial decarbonization, digitalization, energy system modelling, or business transformation

Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing talent and fostering collaboration

Excellent communication skills in a business environment – fluent in English (German is a plus)

Strategic thinking, organizational acumen, and the ability to engage with executive-level stakeholders
