Hyatt House Kuala Lumpur, Mont Kiara

Hyatt House Kuala Lumpur, Mont Kiara will mark the first Hyatt House hotel in Malaysia and South East Asia. Located in Mont Kiara, an affluent suburb five kilometers from downtown Kuala Lumpur, the hotel will feature approximately 298 guestrooms, a three-meal restaurant, 3,100 square feet of meeting space, a fitness centre, and a sky pool. The hotel is part of a larger mixed-use development, Arcoris Mont Kiara.

At Hyatt House Kuala Lumpur, we offer contemporary experiences in casual home comfort in a welcoming and warm environment that encourages hotel guests to live like residents.

Position

We are currently looking for an experienced Technician to join us in this exciting journey with the first Hyatt House in South East Asia. This position reports directly to the Lead Host - Engineering.

Key Qualifications and requirements

Takes an active role in resolving maintenance issues for both guest and associate areas, resolving those issues which can be dealt with immediately and reporting those which require specialist skill.

Properly handles and maintains all power tools.

Submits request to the Lead Host – Engineering for the purchases of parts and consumables.

Ensures cleanliness of all work areas and protects the surroundings when executing duties.

Ensures effective energy conservation measures in areas of operations.

Ensures timely completion of work orders and preventive maintenance tasks.

To assist and ensure effectively the Preventive Maintenance Program is carried out promptly and are in highest standard.

Assists other Hosts with duties throughout the hotel when requested by superior.

Any additional specialist skill is an advantage.
