Manage and oversee the full accounting set for our Japan entity using Malaysian accounting software

Prepare comprehensive financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for senior management review

Ensure full compliance with all Japanese statutory and tax regulations; handle all tax submissions (Corporate Tax, Consumption Tax, etc.)

Oversee cash flow management, accounts receivable and accounts payable processes

Act as the primary financial business partner and point of contact for local management in Japan

Lead and collaborate on financial projects, with occasional travel to Japan for meetings and reviews

What We Require :

Fluent in Japanese (written and spoken) – this is a mandatory requirement

Based in Malaysia and hold a degree in Accounting / Finance or a professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MIA)

Proven experience (3-6 years) in a similar senior accounting / finance role, with a demonstrated track record of handling full sets of accounts

Experience with Malaysian accounting software is a strong advantage

Proactive, independent, and possesses strong business partnering skills

Willingness to travel occasionally to Japan
