Job Description

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive

Project Manager

to oversee biomedical and medical device projects from initiation to completion. The role involves managing client requirements, coordinating with technical teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Role Description

Project Planning & Execution

  • Develop, implement, and monitor project plans, timelines, and budgets for biomedical and medical device projects.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and healthcare clients to ensure seamless execution.

Technical & Regulatory Coordination

  • Ensure all projects comply with Malaysian Medical Device Authority (MDA) regulations, ISO standards, and other relevant guidelines.
  • Liaise with technical teams for equipment installation, calibration, and preventive maintenance scheduling.

    • Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing inquiries.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate procurement of medical devices and parts.

    • Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including proposals, risk assessments, progress reports, and regulatory submissions.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and present reports to management.

    • Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to identify improvements for future projects.

    • Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Project Management, or related field (Master's degree is an advantage).

    10 years of experience

    in healthcare project management and

    working with medical projects and medical consultancy companies

    Strong knowledge of

    MDA regulations

    , and other medical device quality management systems.

    Proven track record in managing end-to-end projects, preferably in the healthcare or medical device industry.

    Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

    Willingness to travel locally or regionally for project requirements.
