About the role

Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced and exciting environment? As a Waiter at Jibungae KBBQ, you will be the face of our business, ensuring each guest has an unforgettable dining experience. This full-time role is based in our Kuantan, Pahang location, where you will work as part of a dedicated team to deliver top-notch service and hospitality.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and seating guests with a warm and friendly demeanor
  • Taking accurate food and drink orders, ensuring guest requests are met in a timely manner
  • Serving meals and beverages to guests, ensuring every dish is presented beautifully
  • Proactively monitoring the dining area to anticipate guest needs and address any issues promptly
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area, restocking supplies as needed
  • Collaborating with the kitchen team to provide feedback and ensure guest satisfaction
  • Adhering to all health, safety and sanitation regulations

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a waiter or server in the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant or cafe setting
  • Excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for delivering memorable dining experiences
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with guests and team members
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service, including order-taking, table setup, and menu item descriptions
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
