Job Responsibilities :

Lead in all the legal and compliance matters of the Group.
Ensure and advise on all compliance with statutory and contractual obligations.
Observe the updated practice of legal and compliance standards as established by authorities.
Establish and improve the SOP of various interdepartmental and intradepartmental processes for higher efficiency.
Responsible to review, draft, and execute all legal documents.
To protect the interest and negotiate for the best terms in all transactions for the Group.
Liaise with respective authorities, firms and lawyers in regards to legal matters.
Resolve / mitigate any of the Group's legal issues.
Undertake ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements :

Possess recognized Bachelor Degree of Law.

Minimum 10 years post-qualification relevant working experience as an in-house counsel for a public listed entity or a legal firm.

Well versed with corporate law, commercial law and Companies Act.

Experience in corporate exercise and familiarity in bursa requirements will be added advantage.

Excellent command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Independent, dynamic and computer literate.
