Penerangan pekerjaanBachelor degree in Nutrition & Dietetics / Dietetics recognized by Malaysian Dietitian Association (MDA). Strong knowledge and skills in Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT). Good command in Malay & English Language both spoken & written. Knowledge of other languages / dialects is an added advantage. Possess own transport, valid driving license & flexibility to travel to any NKF Dialysis Centre. Preferably 3 years’ experience in related field. However, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Able to work independently while maintaining a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges. Registered with the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (MAHPC) or Malaysian Dietitian Association (MDA) is an added advantage.
Overview
The key responsibilities & requirements of Dietitian in the Medical department are listed below.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nutrition counselling & education for various nutrition-related medical conditions for patients and caregivers.
- Provide nutrition support for patients who cannot achieve their daily nutrition requirements.
- Provide education & support to healthcare professionals (nephrologist, physician, nurse) on therapeutic diets required by patients.
- Contribute towards continuous professional developments & research programs.
