Motul Asia Pacific offers strategic, vision-oriented and creative Regional PR & Communications Managers the opportunity to enhance our brand presence across the region through impactful public relations, consistent communications, signature events and market support initiatives. Acting as a key liaison between agencies, media, partners and internal stakeholders, you will ensure brand alignment across markets, drive engagement through PR and events, and support trade programs with measurable outcomes, ultimately strengthening Motul’s visibility and growth in Asia Pacific. This role will be based in Motul Malaysia Office in Puchong, Selangor, Malaysia. Responsibilities
Public Relations Liaison between Motul, agencies, partners and relevant stakeholders for all brand campaign and partnership activations Build and maintain strong relationships with the Regional PR agency and key media contacts, pitch stories and facilitate media inquiries to secure positive coverage Write and edit press releases, statements, and other communication materials tailored for various platforms and audiences Develop and propose PR project ideas that strengthen brand visibility and reputation Support crisis communication planning and execution to safeguard brand image Monitor campaign performance, compile monthly media clippings and reports, provide insights Coordinate with PR agencies and country teams to ensure regional consistency in messaging and communication Assist in community engagement initiatives and media exposure efforts across the region Communications Standardize Brand Messaging across countries and business units Assist in planning and execution of Brand Communication campaigns Oversee development and delivery of visual and digital content for various channels Support trade marketing initiatives by developing Point-of-Sale Materials and channels specific communications Events Coordination Plan, organize and execute PR events that enhance brand presence and stakeholder engagement Support the Regional Marketing Manager in event planning and coordination Manage guest experiences and logistics for VIPs, media representatives, and key stakeholders Provide on-site assistance during events. Ensure everything runs smoothly and according to plan Marketing Support Assists markets with regional brand and trade programs and campaigns Support POSM production, deployment, and usage in line with brand guidelines Drive promotions, sell-through, and sell-out initiatives, ensuring ROI focus and measurable results Collect, evaluate, and share best practices across markets to strengthen regional execution Job Requirements
Minimum 8 years of experience in PR and Communications, with regional exposure preferred Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or relevant discipline Proven track record in media relations, brand communications, and event management Strong organization, executional, and coordination skills, with keen attention to detail Ability to craft clear, compelling narratives and adapt messages for different audiences and channels Self-motivated, energetic, and positive, with the capacity to think and work independently as well as collaboratively Skilled at building relationships and communicating effectively across functions, levels, and cultures Proficient in working across time zones and managing multiple priorities simultaneously Creative, adaptable, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to handle ambiguity and change
