About the Role

We are hiring SEO Content Specialists and SEO Writers to join a fast-growing SEO Agency at Q Sentral. If you are passionate about content creation, SEO, and digital marketing, this is a great opportunity to grow your career with a dynamic team.

Both roles are focused on creating high-quality content and ensuring it performs well on search engines. The SEO Writer role is more content-focused, while the SEO Content Specialist role covers a broader scope, including SEO strategy, digital PR, and analytics.

Responsibilities

SEO Writer (Content-Focused)

Research, write, and edit articles, blog posts, landing pages, and web content across various industries.
Optimize content with on-page SEO best practices (keywords, headings, meta tags, internal / external links, image alt text).
Revise and update existing content to improve performance and rankings.
Write for both human readers and AI algorithms, applying NLP and schema where needed.
Collaborate with the SEO team to align content with overall SEO goals.

SEO Content Specialist (Broader Scope)

Develop and execute content strategies for clients across multiple industries.

Create high-quality content (articles, press releases, blogs) that builds topical authority and brand reputation.

Conduct keyword research and apply technical SEO best practices (site speed, mobile optimization, metadata).

Support digital PR campaigns, including media outreach and link building.

Monitor and analyze content performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Ahrefs, and SEMrush.

Prepare client reports with insights and recommendations.

Requirements

1–3 years of relevant experience in content writing, SEO, or digital marketing.

Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills in English.

Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals (on-page, off-page, and content optimization).

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Must provide a portfolio of past work or writing samples.

Familiarity with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console) is an advantage.

Work Details

Workplace : Fully onsite, Q Sentral, Kuala Lumpur

Work Hours : Flexible between 8 : 00am – 10 : 00pm (8 hours / day)

Example : 10 : 00am – 7 : 00pm or other schedules within the range

Interview Process : 1 round (online)
