Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize capacity utilization.
Monitor production progress and coordinate with the related production personnel to ensure there are no delays or to solve delays, with no impact or minimum impact on the customer.
Participate / Lead Daily Production meetings to review and adjust schedules based on changing demands or constraints.
Reporting and monitoring of On-Time-Delivery performance.
Report any problems or risks related to the production plan or delay to the management when required.
Ensure sufficient stock of materials or components are available to prevent any production stoppage, by considering the forecast, production plan as well as the lead time of the materials or components.
Manage enough material or component safety stock to prevent any production stoppage when there is a disruption to the supply.
Any other ad-hoc tasks which are related to the job scope.
Qualifications
Min : Diploma / Degree holder in any science field.
At least 1-2 years of working experience in production planning, inventory management or any related field.
Able to converse in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Experience working with manufacturing processes and production scheduling.
Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Analytical and computer literate, proficient in using Excel. Having knowledge in ERP is an added advantage.
