We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quantity Surveyor to join our team. In this role, you will manage project costs and help ensure that construction projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities :
- Measurement & Taking Off - Calculating quantities and comparing measurements from drawings, BQ, specifications, etc. to support cost estimation, tendering, and project planning.
- Estimate & Manage Costs – Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment; monitor expenses throughout the project.
- Contract & Tender Preparation – Develop tender documents, contracts, and bills of quantities with input from clients and architects.
- Subcontractor & Vendor Management – Hire, coordinate, and oversee subcontractors to ensure work aligns with project budgets and schedules.
- Project Coordination – Collaborate with site managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to keep projects on track and within budget.
- Risk & Cost Control – Analyze commercial risks, conduct feasibility studies, and implement value engineering and cost control strategies.
- Progress Valuation & Payment – Track completed work, manage contractual claims, and arrange timely payments to contractors and suppliers.
Requirements :
Minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Contract Management, or a related field.Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.Proficient in quantity surveying tools and Microsoft Office.Strong problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills.Able to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility.Willingness to work extra hours to meet deadlines when required.
