Overview

Mehow Medical (M) Sdn Bhd – Bukit Tambun, Penang

Responsibilities

  • Operate EDM processing according to safety standard operating procedure and drawings tolerance.
  • Responsible for regular inspection / preservation / maintenance of equipment according to EDM standard.
  • Responsible for regular inspection / preservation / maintenance of peripheral equipment according to EDM standard / WEDM processing equipment.
  • Responsible for standard usage and maintenance of general measurement jigs and tools.
  • Responsible for quality inspection for spark processing workpiece (include electrode).
  • Responsible for categorizing of steel materials and copper at EDM area and filing of drawings.
  • Responsible for operating WEDM processing equipment according to Standard Operating Procedure.
  • Responsible for regular inspection / preservation / maintenance of WEDM processing equipment.
  • Responsible for daily / weekly / monthly maintenance of regular measurement jigs.
  • Apply for requisition of tools, materials under supervision of leader, responsible for keeping and record usage condition of tools.
  • Responsible for accomplishing tasks assigned by leader in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for day and night shift work handover according to department handover policy.
  • Responsible for maintaining 7S of working area.
  • Responsible for operating SAP system.

Qualifications

  • SPM and above, Specializing in engineering – mechanical / tooling or equivalent.
  • Possess 3 years of working experience in operating CNC EDM / Wirecut EDW machine.
  • Basic knowledge of plastic mould & cutting tools, mechanical drawing or processing theory of EDM & wire cutting.
  • Familiar in operating EDM machine / wire-cutting equipment, able to roughly operate UG, proficient in EDM processing mechanical, able to write wire-cutting programming independently, proficient in wire-cutting processing.
  • Able to handle slow wire-cutting, rapid wire-cutting, EDM Machine.

    Working Details

    5 days working : Mondays - Fridays, (8.30am - 5.30pm)
