This hybrid role will strengthen Shopee’s brand presence through strategic media engagement and high‑impact stakeholder events aligning with business objectives. The role requires effective stakeholder management, strong analytical background, and high ownership. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable handling press releases, media strategy, and event execution while collaborating across internal teams and external partners to deliver results.
Responsibilities
- Plan and draft PR materials aligned with business priorities to measure brand perception and earned media value.
- Manage PR campaigns, ensuring coordination between internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor media sentiment and proactively manage narratives around brand and campaigns.
- Plan and execute stakeholder‑facing events, including press conferences, media briefings, brand partner events, and community initiatives.
- Own end‑to‑end event logistics including run‑of‑show development, vendor coordination, venue management, and post‑event amplification.
- Ensure brand and messaging consistency across all event assets and activations.
- Oversee and manage PR agencies and event vendors, ensuring high‑quality deliverables aligned with standards.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure integrated campaign rollouts and timely execution for high‑impact events and activations.
- Plan and manage budgets across PR and event, ensuring cost‑effective execution of campaigns and initiatives.
- Work with finance teams to track expenditures and report on budget utilization.
- Track and report PR performance and post‑event impact with data‑driven insights to optimise future initiatives.
- Maintain media tracking databases and campaign wrap‑up documentation.
- Prepare actionable insights for management to refine strategies across future PR campaigns and event executions.
Qualifications
2‑5 years of experience in Public Relations, Communications, Events Management, or related fields, preferably within a fast‑paced industry.Strong experience managing PR agencies, media relations, and stakeholder‑facing events.Proven ability to lead projects end‑to‑end, with attention to detail across logistics and narrative control.Data‑driven mindset, with ability to analyse campaign performance and report impact.Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills across all levels of stakeholders.Proficiency in tools like Google Slides, Google Docs, Google Sheets, or other basic project and analytics platforms.Strong problem‑solving skills.Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.Seniority Level
