Key Responsibilities :

  • Track and analyze logistics costs including freight, warehousing, distribution, and third-party logistics (3PL) expenses.
  • Support the month-end close process by preparing accurate logistics cost accruals and reconciliations.
  • Review and validate freight invoices and warehouse bills against contracts and service levels.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning for logistics-related costs.
  • Conduct cost variance analysis and provide insights on deviations from budget or prior periods.
  • Partner with logistics and procurement teams to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Monitor key supply chain KPIs such as cost per case, distribution efficiency, and on-time in-full (OTIF) delivery.
  • Support new product launches, promotions, and seasonal activities with financial logistics planning.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and audit requirements.
  • Provide financial reporting and analysis to support strategic logistics decisions and continuous improvement.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of finance experience, preferably in FMCG or supply chain / logistics environments.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and cost structures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Solid understanding of accrual accounting and cost allocation.

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience in working with large volume data related to distribution and warehousing.
  • Familiarity with FMCG logistics practices, including route-to-market strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with cost control tools and performance dashboards.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and tight timelines.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

    • Working Conditions :

  • Distribution Center office-based role with regular collaboration across functions
  • May require extended hours during closing and budgeting periods.
