Head of Business Segment, Livestock, MSI
The Position
Join our team as the Business Segment Head for Livestock in MSI where you will lead the Livestock business within the Operation Unit (OPU) in alignment with Global and Regional OPU strategies.
This role is responsible for driving Sales and Marketing excellence, managing distributor performance, and embedding customer engagement programs, while ensuring compliance and operational integrity.
Focus areas include targeting high-value customers, evaluating new opportunities, establishing strategic plans, implementing best-in-class selling, coaching and training practices, optimizing Field Force structure and sizing, and developing inspiring incentive plans.
Responsibilities
Leadership
- Define and clarify roles, goals and expectations in the team.
- Responsible for leading the team to ensure short & long term objectives for the organization are achieved with the collaboration from other functions.
- Ensure ambitious and achievable business goals are set and owned by individuals

- Lead the implementation and monitoring of marketing plans to meet the species sales budget and profitability
- Review opportunities for new products to be introduced into the market and extensions to claims for existing products
- Convert and communicate Global / ROPU brand strategies for local implementation
- Drive Sales and Marketing Excellence initiatives
- Responsible for the Management of the Distributor
- Development and implementation of key account management plan including short term, mid term and long term action plans
- Implement ROPU SEASK species strategy in close collaboration with the ROPU BuSe Head
- Implement the ROPU SEASK Brand Plan
- Ensure implementation of BI's corporate policies and respect BI's and local compliance standards
Talent Management
Lead, coach and develop team members to ensure optimal individual / team performance.Communication & Network :
