Job Description
- Responsible to plan, organize and control the day-to-day operations of jobs under their supervision. Provide advice and assist on technical aspects of inspection and to meet client’s requirements.
- Attend site visit for the inspection or testing (if required).
- Perform and lead inspections as per client’s requirement.
- Conduct detailed testing and inspection of steel / concrete structures to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Review and verification of inspection scope and technical drawing.
- Preparation of draft and final reports.
- Review of final reports.
- Assist Technical Manager to supervise and co-ordinate job scheduling, manpower control and allocation within the department.
- Assist the Technical Manager in the development of existing and new business through regular client contacts.
- Acceptance and issuance of job instructions and control of special operations.
- Assist in the development and training of staff to required level of expertise.
- Ensure that all operations are conducted within client’s health and safety requirements.
- To recognize that the department Quality system is fully implemented as per the QA Manual.
- Adherence to applicable Quality Management System by exercising necessary standard and process when carry out your responsibilities in executing, fulfilling and ensuring at all times the compliance of the QMS and is fully implemented in accordance to ISO 17020 & MIBAS policy, 17065 & ACB policy and ISO17025 & SAMM policy"(where applicable / required).
- Adherence to SGS Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy by uphold a good safety behavior and exercising necessary standard and process when carry out your responsibilities at all times to ensure compliance to the HSE requirements.
- Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by your reporting manager and / or Senior Management
Qualifications
College degree in Civil or Structural Engineering3-5 years’ experience in engineering field.Knowledge and good in AutoCADTeam PlayerLeaderExperience in Supervisory skills.Additional Information
