Category Strategy and Innovation Manager

The Category Strategy and Innovations Manager will assist in developing and implementing category and brand strategies that support long-term growth and profitability. The role involves coordinating cross-functional efforts, analyzing brand performance, and ensuring the execution of product innovations and launches. This position requires a focus on stakeholder collaboration, market analysis, and continuous improvement, contributing directly to driving sustainable category growth.

Job Description

Work with internal team to align brand and category goals with business objectives
Analyze trends, competitors, and customer behavior for opportunities
Provide insights for product and brand strategies
Collaborate with teams (Marketing, Sales, etc.) for smooth product launches
Monitor portfolio performance and create plans to improve or troubleshoot
Work with internal teams to align on category plans
Coordinate with external partners for category initiatives
Find ways to improve processes and make product development more efficient

Job Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

5+ years of experience in category management, brand management, or a similar role, with 2 years and above managing team in FMCG industry.

Comes with strong business acumen and strategic thought process.

Must have analytic background in consumer behavior.

Fluent in English for verbal and written communication.
