Penerangan pekerjaanExperience in game system design and balancing gameplay mechanics for multiplayer or online games Strong understanding of core gameplay loops, player progression systems, and reward structures Familiar with game engines (such as Unity, Unreal, or proprietary tools) and scripting languages like Lua, Python, or C# Ability to translate creative ideas into clear design documents, flowcharts, and prototypes Understanding of player psychology, engagement patterns, and retention strategies Experience collaborating with programmers, artists, and sound designers to bring game features to life Passion for innovation in gameplay, storytelling, and user experience Design and develop core gameplay systems, combat mechanics, and interactive features for Massively Multiplayer Online Games (MMOG) Create clear and detailed game design documents that define systems, rules, and player interactions Work closely with programmers to ensure gameplay features are technically feasible and performant Collaborate with artists and UI / UX teams to achieve a cohesive and engaging player experience Balance and fine-tune gameplay through data analysis, playtesting, and player feedback Research and implement innovative game design trends, tools, and techniques to elevate game quality Continuously improve user engagement, progression pacing, and overall gameplay satisfaction Annual Leave EPF / SOCSO / PCB 5 days work A positive work atmosphere and collaborative team environment
Requirements
- Minimum education is Certificates / Vocational / Diploma in any related field
- Able to converse in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
- 3+ years of experience in game server development, proficient in C / C++ and Lua scripting languages
- Familiar with the Skynet framework and have participated in at least one Skynet-based game project
- Proficient in MySQL, with experience in database design and optimization
- Solid foundation in computer science, including data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and network programming
- Good coding style and programming habits, with a focus on code quality and maintainability
- Strong sense of responsibility and teamwork spirit, capable of solving problems independently and handling pressure
- Passionate about the gaming industry and enthusiastic about game development
