Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Oversee and monitor cash flow, budgeting, expenses and forecasting processes.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, provide financial insights and develop strategy proposal to senior management for improvements.
- Ensure all financial records are accurate and up to date.
Accounting & Costing
Supervise daily accounting operations including AR, AP, GL, payroll payment process including statutory payment.Ensure timely reconciliation of bank statements and ledgers.Oversee and ensure accuracy of the month‑end and year‑end closing processes.Prepare project costing report.Prepare closing accounts, ensure accounting records remain accurate and meet all financial reporting deadlines.Prepare monthly departmental expenses and cost analysis.Compliance & Controls
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets.Handle tax filings and ensure compliance with financial laws.Work with auditors during financial audits.Team Management
Lead and mentor the junior finance and accounting team.Assign tasks, set goals, and conduct performance evaluations.HR & Admin
Supervise & guide the Finance & Admin team on payroll processes, cash advance, staff claims, foreign workers applications & management.Ad‑hoc assignments related to Finance & Accounts, HR & Admin.What we look for on this talent
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).Professional certifications highly desirable.Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles.Proficiency in accounting software (Autocount).Ability to think out of the box and be creative.Strong knowledge of financial and tax regulations.Attention to detail and good organizational skills.CPA, ACCA, or similar certification is an added advantage.Good with numbers.Knowledge of E‑Invoicing is a must.Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and leadership skills.Possess excellent people management skill in leading the team to meet the deadlines.English & Mandarin speaking required.Able to travel within Johor Bahru.If you believe you are meeting the requirements and are a good fit, you can drop your updated resume with your latest payslip, highest education certificate & transcript to
