About the role
As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing operations and ensuring the efficient production of high-quality medical devices. This is a full-time position based in Kamunting, Perak.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and coordinate the daily production activities, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring of the manufacturing process
- Ensure adherence to production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols
- Optimise production processes and workflows to improve efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with the engineering, quality, and procurement teams to resolve any production-related issues
- Implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing capabilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to the production team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Maintain accurate production records and generate reports for management
What we're looking for
Extensive experience (5+ years) in a similar production management role within the manufacturing or medical device industryStrong technical knowledge and understanding of production planning, scheduling, and process improvement methodologiesProven ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with quality management systems and experience in implementing lean manufacturing principlesProficient in using production planning and control software, as well as data analysis toolsDegree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related fieldWilling to work at Kamunting, PerakAdditional details
