JOB REQUIREMENT :

  • Must possess an Undergraduate or Postgraduate Degree in Civil Engineering and be registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
  • Language proficiency : Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Civil & Structural Engineer in an engineering consultancy firm. (Experience in Infrastructure or Structural projects is acceptable.)
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for entry-level positions.
  • Proficiency in relevant software such as Infravera, MES, TerraAlpha, TerraWater, Civil 3D, Etabs, Prota, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, etc.
  • Willing to travel outstation when required.
  • Candidates residing near Puchong area may consider working at the VED HQ.

BRIEF JOB SCOPE :

  • Perform civil and structural engineering designs, including design reports and drawings.
  • Prepare and submit designs for approval by technical authorities.
  • Conduct site supervision, coordination, and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Attend client-consultant meetings, site meetings, and coordination meetings.
  • Work effectively within a team and liaise with clients, architects, planners, M&E consultants, and other project stakeholders.
  • Provide technical advice and innovative, cost-effective engineering solutions for design and construction challenges
