Position Title

Manager, Portfolio Management

Reports To

Head, Portfolio Management (ITPMO)

Role Purpose

Establish & drive PPM (portfolio, program, and project management governance) to realize and maximize business benefits while providing decision support information for Senior Management progress reports.

Key Accountability

  • Establish & drive the discipline of PPM (portfolio, program, and project management) with regard to project framework, project flow & project tools in MAG
  • Analyse and co-manage IT project financial, project schedule, project scope, and project benefit with project or program managers
  • Plan and execute ITPM resources (planning, fulfilment, assignment) for IT projects or programs; this will also be part of the consolidation Group IT People Strategy initiative
  • Lead assigned program / project across process group (Concept / Planning / Delivery / Closure) which includes standard project deliverables or specific to a project
  • Drive IT Portfolio Meeting, implement project reporting tools and project / program level status reporting for any executive reviews

Qualifications & Working Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management, IT / Computing, Business or related fields of study with 10‑14 years working experience in project / program management
  • Professional Certification PMP, PgMP or PRINCE2 with 6‑7 years working experience in Project Management Office (PMO)
  • Skills & Knowledge

  • Experience in PMO Setup, PMO Management, Governance Definition & Deployment
  • Experience in Project (PMBOK® & Prince2®), Program (PMI® & MSP®) and Portfolio (PMI® & MoP®) Management
  • Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office productivity suite especially Microsoft Project
  • Good command of English and competent in preparing reports / updates and project documentation that are concise and accurate
