About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Account Assistant to join our dynamic team at Crossworld Business Strategy Sdn. Bhd. in Taman Permata,Kuala Lumpur. This full-time position will provide you with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the field of bookkeeping and small practice accounting.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist client with the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Maintain and reconcile client's general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
  • Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to streamline processes and implement best practices
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and presentations for management

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in a small practice or business environment
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations and financial reporting standards is preferred
