Environmental Safety Technician (OSH Coordinator / Safety Coordinator)

Implement and monitor safety policies in accordance with OSHA Act 1994 and CIDB standards

Conduct regular audits and inspections of resort facilities, including guest areas, kitchens, pools, and recreational zones

Ensure all safety equipment is maintained and accessible

Conduct health and safety induction programs for new hires

Organize fire drills, evacuation exercises, and emergency response training

Promote safety awareness among staff and guests

Investigate accidents, near misses, and safety breaches

Prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions

Liaise with local authorities and emergency services when needed

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of safety checks, incidents, and compliance reports

Lead Health & Safety Committee meetings and submit findings to management

QUALIFICATION & SKILLS

• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related field
• Certification from DOSH (Department of Occupational Safety and Health Malaysia)
• Strong knowledge of resort operations and hospitality safety standards
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
