Senior Procurement Engineer (Sourcing)

Overview

The ideal candidate oversees the procurement of technical goods for AAF. The engineer has detailed knowledge of product drawings, equipment, materials, and suppliers, and evaluates new and existing suppliers and subcontractors, negotiating purchase agreements with them. Responsibilities

Study and understand product drawings and ensure technical specifications align with R&D. Source materials according to specification and drawing. Evaluate vendor quotations to ensure alignment with technical requirements and negotiate best pricing. Understand product development requirements from R&D and Sales. Monitor and update progress to meet management deadlines. Maintain material master data in SAP for purchasing records. Review supplier qualifications to ensure background, quality, and experience meet business needs for sourced items. Liaise with new vendors to complete documentation and negotiate incoterms and payment terms before registration. Execute cost-down programs and achieve targets set by management. Collaborate with suppliers on quality improvement. Qualifications

At least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related discipline. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a relevant role; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Good communication and strong interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and negotiation skills. PC Skills : Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP. Teamwork and interpersonal abilities. About AAF
