Proficient in implementing high availability, clustering, replication, and failover solutions. Experience with database recovery tools, backup technologies, and disaster recovery planning. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and managed database services is a plus. Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot databases to ensure performance, reliability, and availability.
- Develop and execute backup and recovery strategies to prevent data loss and ensure business continuity.
- Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and storage management.
- Implement database security controls including access control, encryption, and auditing.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate database solutions into application stacks.
- Create and maintain documentation related to database configurations, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct root cause analysis of database-related issues and implement preventive measures.
- Support database upgrades, patching, and migration activities.
