Staff Nurse / Senior Staff Nurse (Haemodialysis)

• To provide care for patients with acute / chronic kidney (renal) failure undergoing dialysis.
• To examine patient’s psychological, emotional and physical condition.
• To set priorities of patients’ needs and provide care accordingly.
• To identifies patient’s problems, symptoms and behavioural changes and reports to physician.
• To keep ready the dialysis equipment.
• To oversee the dialysis treatment from start to finish.
• To cannulate access.
• To demonstrate the ability to remove femoral sheaths & administer medications, including thrombolytics as per order as and when needed.
• To clean and dress permanent and temporary catheters.
• To identify irregular dialysis reactions and notifies appropriate medical team members.
• To perform other related duties as assigned by superior.
