Mechanical Engineer
Job Responsibilities
Manage critical technical maintenance activities associated with all mechanical systems to reduce operational risk and in accordance with the MOP.Develop SOP, EOP, and MOP for all critical facility equipment and activities.Provide technical support during construction phase, responding to RFIs and addressing issues.Work with Shift team on incident investigation, follow‑up actions, and submit interim / final reports to senior management.Analyze BMS / DCIM data to identify opportunities to improve reliability / efficiency of critical equipment or processes.Support Green Mark DC Certification and ensure chiller plant compliance.Participate in drills / tabletop exercises and develop Emergency Operating Procedures.Support and coordinate major activities like annual shutdown, overhaul, etc.Coordinate with multiple disciplines to deliver projects on budget and schedule while managing mechanical team (HVAC, fire protection, plumbing).Keep abreast of changes in codes and technologies in mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection disciplines.Analyze and evaluate mechanical system performance, recommending upgrades.Recommend new technologies / equipment to enhance performance and reduce operational costs.Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration of chiller systems.Analyze energy usage to identify optimization and cost‑saving opportunities.Requirements
Diploma / degree in Mechanical Engineering / Building Services or equivalent.5 years of experience in data center or critical infrastructure industry such as refinery or oil & gas.Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, BMS, CMMS / DCIM, ERP, and Microsoft BI.Excellent problem solving and root cause analysis skills.Ability to articulate and explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.Additional Information
