Overview

We are assisting our client in hiring an HR Manager who can handle the full HR spectrum.

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and Onboarding – Source, interview, and hire suitable candidates, and ensure smooth integration of new employees into the organization.
  • Compensation and Benefits – Manage payroll processing, including statutory deductions, tax matters, and reimbursements, as well as administer employee benefits programs.
  • Employee Relations – Handle workplace issues, resolve conflicts, address employee grievances, and manage disciplinary actions fairly and consistently.
  • Training and Development – Organize and implement training programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and career growth.
  • Legal Compliance – Ensure company practices comply with labor laws, statutory requirements, and workplace regulations.
  • Performance Management – Oversee performance appraisal processes and support continuous employee development and feedback.
  • Workplace Culture – Promote a positive, safe, and engaging work environment that supports teamwork and employee satisfaction.
  • Policy Development – Develop, review, and enforce HR policies and procedures in alignment with company objectives.
  • Record Keeping – Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential employee records and documentation.
  • Strategic Workforce Planning – Collaborate with management to anticipate and plan workforce needs to support future business goals.
  • Event Management – Plan and coordinate company events such as Simpai Kenduri, annual dinners, and festive celebrations (e.g., Chinese New Year).
  • Administrative Support (Overseas Employees) – Manage daily administrative tasks such as stationery procurement, annual T-shirt and calendar / diary orders, and other office needs.
  • Site Visits – Conduct regular visits to estates and mills located in Pahang, Selangor, and Negeri Sembilan to oversee HR-related matters across more than 50 estates and 10 mills.
  • Language Proficiency – English, Malay, Cantonese, Mandarin (Written and Spoken)
  • Willing to travel once in few months
