We are seeking an experienced Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic team at CHUAN HIN PACKAGING INDUSTRIES SDN BHD' in Taiping, Perak. As a Shipping Clerk, you will play a crucial role in our Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics operations, with a focus on Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory. What you’ll be doing

Coordinate and oversee the shipping and receiving of goods, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, and customs paperwork
Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and customers to resolve any shipping-related issues or discrepancies
Assist with inventory management, including conducting regular stock checks and maintaining accurate records
Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure that materials and supplies are available when needed
Provide support to the wider logistics team as required, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations

What we’re looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar shipping or logistics role, preferably within the manufacturing industry

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

Proficient in using shipping software and various computer applications (e.g., Excel, ERP systems)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Familiarity with local and international shipping regulations and procedures

Flexible and adaptable, able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
