About the role

This is a full-time IT Support Analyst (QAD) role based in Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur. As an IT Support Analyst (QAD), you will be a crucial member of the IT team at Valmont Corporate Shared Services Sdn. Bhd., providing technical support and troubleshooting for the company's QAD enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.

What you'll be doing

  • Responding to and resolving IT support requests from users related to the QAD ERP system
  • Performing system maintenance, configuration, and optimization tasks to ensure optimal performance of the QAD ERP system
  • Providing training and guidance to users on the effective use of the QAD ERP system
  • Collaborating with the IT team to identify and implement solutions to improve the efficiency and reliability of the QAD ERP system
  • Documenting IT support processes and procedures to maintain knowledge-sharing within the team
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in QAD ERP system management

What we're looking for

  • Relevant diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support, with a focus on ERP systems, preferably QAD
  • Strong technical skills and understanding of enterprise software, hardware, and networking concepts
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve IT-related issues
  • Effective communication skills to provide clear and concise support to end-users
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve IT support objectives
  • Familiarity with IT support processes and documentation practices
