About the role
We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our team to manage the financial aspects of the business. We have outsourced the book-keeping & accounting functions to an external service provider. This full-time role will liaise & co-ordinate between retail operations, head office & the accounting service provider.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the accounting service provider to ensure all documents are submitted to them on a timely basis for processing, including daily sales reports, suppliers’ invoices, monthly payroll reports, etc.
- Reconcile bank deposits & receipts from credit card & other e-wallet modes to the bank statement.
- Ensure suppliers’ invoices are valid, prepare payment vouchers & process payments to suppliers.
- Prepare simple financial analysis such as sales & margin reports by product, costs analysis, etc.
- Assist with queries & resolve issues e.g. applying for licences & interactions with statutory bodies.
Requirements
Diploma in Accounting (LCCI, CAT or from a reputable college).Fresh graduates looking for experience are encouraged to apply.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word.Attention to details, proactive in work & motivated to learn.Good communication & interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues & external parties.Some local traveling is required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
