The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a strategic partner to the business units, providing guidance and support on all HR matters to drive organizational performance and people development. This role works closely with department heads to align HR strategies with business goals, fostering a high-performance and engaged workforce within the solar and renewable energy industry.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnership
  • Partner with business leaders to understand operational needs and develop HR strategies that support business objectives.
  • Provide advice and support on organization design, workforce planning, and succession management.
  • Talent Management & Development
  • Support the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and career development.
  • Identify training needs and collaborate with the Learning & Development team to implement effective programs.
  • Employee Relations
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues through effective communication and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of company policies and maintain compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Performance & Culture
  • Partner with leaders to drive performance management, engagement initiatives, and culture-building activities.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace aligned with company values.
  • Support annual performance reviews, salary adjustments, and rewards programs in line with company policy.
  • Provide input on pay structures and market competitiveness to attract and retain top talent.
  • HR Data & Reporting
  • Analyze HR metrics to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and present HR reports to management to support decision-making.
  • Change Management & Projects
  • Support HR transformation initiatives, process improvements, and organizational change projects.
  • Act as a change ambassador to drive adoption of new HR systems and practices.
  • Other Duties
  • Perform other HR-related duties as assigned by the Head of HR or Management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 4–7 years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in an HRBP or generalist capacity.
  • Sound understanding of employment law, HR policies, and best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal, consulting, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with leaders and employees at all levels.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in HR analytics and reporting.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in renewable energy, engineering, or project-based industries is an advantage.
