Position : WordPress Developer

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain necessary databases for website functionality.
  • Develop website functionality using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Optimise website performance through code minification, image compression, and enhancing page load times.
  • Ensure cross-browser, cross-platform, and device compatibility of the website.
  • Ensure website usability, accessibility, and user-friendliness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including web designers and content creators to meet business goals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and errors.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and competitive advantage.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven work experience as a WordPress developer.
  • Proficiency in backend WordPress customisation using PHP and Database, as well as frontend technologies including JavaScript (jQuery), CSS (Bootstrap), and HTML.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies like CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
  • Understanding and experience with JSON and API implementations.
  • Ability to work with multiple APIs from various sources.
  • Experience with debugging tools like Chrome Inspector.
  • Strong understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
  • Project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in spoken Mandarin is mandatory.
  • Minimum 2+ years of comprehensive web development experience (for Senior level).
