Maintenance Technician
Mechanical Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Ensure that all mechanical equipment in the factory is maintained and operated at an optimal level to minimize downtime.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, conveyor systems, and processing equipment.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure that any mechanical breakdowns are repaired promptly to avoid production delays.
- Install mechanical hardware, equipment, and components as directed by the Supervisor.
- Ensure all machinery, bearings, belts, pumps, motors, and cooling systems are functioning efficiently.
- Perform welding, fabrication, and pipefitting work when required.
- Perform TIG welding for repairs and fabrications, including piping, equipment, and structural components.
- Install, maintain, and repair wire mesh conveyors and other conveyor systems in the production line.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure all mechanical systems are in compliance with ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000 standards.Maintain the safety and cleanliness of all mechanical equipment and ensure they operate in a safe condition.Ensure that the water supply to the food processing system is clean and safe for use according to industry standards.Assist the Supervisor in training the Operations Team on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting techniques.Work closely with the electrical and production teams to maintain smooth plant operations.Keep records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage for audit and tracking purposes.Suggest improvements to machine efficiency, energy usage, and reliability.Perform any other tasks as directed by Senior Management / Superior.Education & Qualification
Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, EngineeringRelevant Experience & Years of Service
