Design Engineer

Report directly to the Head of Department on key issues and developments.

Review project requirements and technical specifications from clients.

Assess technical submissions from suppliers and subcontractors.

Ensure project completion within contractual timeframes and budget.

Monitor project quality to meet customer technical specifications.

Review design criteria, compile technical documents, and align with authority guidelines.

Identify engineering issues and recommend viable solutions.

Research, design, and develop new products and concepts.

Create virtual design models using engineering software tools.

Assess materials and production costs to determine manufacturing feasibility.

Present and demonstrate product prototypes for client approval.

Evaluate functionality, safety, and design practicality of products.

Assist HOD in value engineering and proposing alternative design solutions.

Liaise with internal departments and authorities to ensure smooth workflow.

Verify completeness and accuracy of civil and structural drawings.

Update drawing progress on alternate days.

Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
