Senior Android Developer - Java

Our Client, a leading bank in Asia with a global network, is looking for Data Engineers to join a newly set‑up technology centre in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize backend services using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Camel (CXF), and related frameworks.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, integration layers, and microservices for digital banking applications.
• Work with React Native to develop hybrid mobile applications and ensure compatibility across devices.
• Ensure system performance, security, scalability, and reliability as per banking industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (architects, QA, DevOps, and product teams) to deliver high‑quality features.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and deployment activities.
• Support CI / CD pipelines and automation initiatives.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide L3 support for application incidents.
